Although there are several celebrities who stayed very close friends through the years, there are also some whose relationships turned sour. Now, fans keep a close watch over these stars for hating each other so much that being in the same place may lead to a sudden scuffle.

1. Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie

The two former best friends even had a TV show together years ago. However, they parted ways in 2005. Paris said in a report by Posh 24, "I will not go into details... Nicole knows what she did." The two heiresses tried to fix things between them later on, but they were no longer as close as before.

2. Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian

Hilton and Kardashian were good friends before, after realizing that they share several things in common. However, the two separated after Paris discovered that Kim was becoming such a big star, even bigger than her. The two reconciled in 2012 but were never seen in public together since.

3. Mel Gibson and Joel Eszterhas

The actor and legendary screenwriter used to work together on "The Maccabees". However, things turned sour between the two of them and they started attacking each other online. In the end, Gibson apologized while Joel wrote an e-book about their debacle.

4. Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger

The couple used to be very good friends before being among Hollywood's greatest couples. However, they filed for divorce in 2001 and since then, a lot of scandals broke out between the two, showing how much they hated each other.

5. Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow

The two blondes used to be best friends. However, they turned into real enemies in 2009 after Gwyneth removed herself from the relationship and left Madonna feeling abandoned. Currently, Madonna shuts out Paltrow even if they coincidentally meet in public.

Other stars have also changed from being good pals to becoming each other's worst enemies, like Floyd Mayweather Jr. and rapper 50Cent. In fact, Hollywood is full of them. Although it is sad to see such good relationships go to waste, given their public status, it is somehow entertaining how the stars deal with each other.
