Pets need to know you care about them, too, especially this time of the month when love is in the air. Gone were the days when you only give presents to people who are special to you. Today, you should also consider these five gifts to give your dog this Valentine’s Day.

1. Hearty Leash: Let your dog feel its Valentine’s by giving him or her a leash perfect for the occasion. A leash with printed hearts or kiss marks is ideal for long walks in the park or a jog at the beach during sunset.

2. Valentine Treats: This Valentine’s Day, you may consider giving your dog a pack of heart-shaped biscuits. These treats are delicious and some even come with names like "hug me" or "kiss me." They are excellent snacks for your dog and are useful too if you're teaching your pet a new trick or two.

3. Love Collar: Time to get rid of that old collar on your doggie’s neck and get your pet a new one that’s just right this month of hearts. Dog collars come in various colours and designs. You can get your male dog a cute red bow tie collar or a fancy dog boa for your female dog.

4. Dog Pillow: Your dog will always be reminded of your undying love every time he or she sleeps with his or her head on a Valentine pillow from you. You can get your pet a heart-shaped or bone-shaped pillow or one with embroidered words like “I love you” or “Hug me."

5. Trendy Bandana: If your dog is not comfortable wearing a shirt, try getting him or her a bandana instead. You can attach this trendy accessory to his or her collar or simply tie around the neck. Choose a bandana with a Valentine’s Day inspired design.

Share the love with your most loyal buddy. Take your pick from these gifts to give your dog this Valentine’s Day.
