Sony Pictures Australia has released the schedule of the upcoming films set this month of February.

Among the films that you can bring your loved ones or colleagues after a long hard day of work includes the action/drama film, “White House Down” starring the sexy father-to-be, Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx (Unchained Django) and Maggie Gyllehaal.

Another action film is set to rock your world, starring A-list actor, Denzel Washington and still-very-hot Contraband actor, Mark Wahlberg. Washington and Wahlberg star in the action-packed film, “2 Guns” directed by Baltasar Kormákur.

1. After Earth

Directed by M. Night Shymalan, “After Earth” is an action-adventure film featuring a father and son stranded on Earth following a cataclysmic events that happened 1000 years back. Starring Will Smith (Cypher) and his own son Jaden (Kitai Raige), the film followed the challenging journey faced by Kitai in search for help.

2. This is the End

“This is the End” is an action-comedy film directed and written and directed by actor Seth Rogen in collaboration with Evan Goldberg. Seth, who also appeared on the film is joined by James Franco, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, among others.

It follows a group of six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events that devastated Los Angeles.


3. Elysium


A-list actors Matt Damon and Jodie Foster, together with Sharlto Copley starred in the sci-fi-drama, “Elysium,” a “pristine man-made space station” inhabited by the ‘very wealthy’ people. With the context set in year 2159, the film shows the challenges of the man from earth, played by Matt Damon, who was determined to get to the place only rich people can set their feet on.



4. One Direction: The Movie

It's a documentary film directed by Morgan Spurlock who features the members of a boy band, One Direction, (Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson) as they embark on a world tour for one year.

5. Battle of the Year

With Director Benson Lee at the helm, the film, “Battle of the Year” showcases the lives of vibrant male young dance crew members in their quest for the highest recognition of a dance competition, in the hopes to get the title of World Champion. The film stars Chris Brown, Josh Holloway, Caity Lotz, among others.
