6 Xbox 720 Game Titles Rumored, Revealed and Confirmed
As the Xbox event draws ever so nearer, it seems that leaks and rumors surrounding the still unannounced console is slowly making its way out of the Microsoft fortress.
This time, four game titles have been added to the growing list of confirmed, hinted, or rumored games that will be coming to the next-gen Xbox console.
Ryse and Forza as next-gen Xbox launch titles
Judging from the way Ryse never released on the current Xbox and that there have been no news of the game being dropped by Crytek, it's not impossible to see that the delay for the release has been put to good use in the drawing boards to make the game compatible with the next-gen console.
It's also been said that the game will maximize the new features of the new Xbox, which can mean that body tracking and sensors can be used throughout the game.
Earlier this year, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli said to OXM.com, "We are on track with all our plans. The game is really shaping up well, but that's pretty much all I can say at the moment."
However, whether or not this means that Ryse is shaping up well for the Xbox 720, remains to be seen.
Forza, on the other hand, is also in the work, particularly bringing great graphics that's befitting only of the next-gen.
Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed IV: Leaked from CVs
If there's anything that gamers have to be thankful for, it would be the undeniable urge to list ongoing projects on LinkedIn profiles before any announcements are officially made.
According to GameSpot, some CVs from Ubisoft already contained the words "X720" alongside Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Watch Dogs.
In particular, VideoGamer reports that the employees were Paolo Maninetti, programmer and Phil Brolles, marketing artist, with the former revealing that Assassin's Creed IV is heading for both current and next-gen consoles including PS4 and Xbox 720, while the latter revealed that Watch Dogs is aiming for the next-gen iterations.
Officially, Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed IV have been confirmed on the PS4, with the developer only hinting at the possibility of having other next0gen platforms for Assassin's Creed IV.
Hopefully this doesn't change anything in Ubisoft's plans for the Xbox 720-and certainly not a repeat of what happened with Microsoft's Adam Orth who, after a Twitter banter on the rumored always-online feature of the Xbox 720, has now reportedly left the company.
Mystery zombie and adventure games?
EuroGamer adds two other mysterious and untitled games into the mix of rumored next-gen games.
Supposedly, the Xbox 720 is brewing a zombie game as well as a family game that resounds with a movie vibe in the style of Pixar, which may be a great way to feature the Kinect sensor and scan function. As always, there has been no confirmation yet as to whether these games are really coming out for the next-gen Xbox iteration.
For now, it's back to counting down the days until the May 21 Xbox event, which should contain confirmations or the end of the rumor flying about on the Xbox 720.
