6-Year-Old Japanese Boy Donates Piggy Bank Savings for Typhoon Yolanda Victims
Various celebrities and famous personalities have taken time to tweet and post caring and inspiring words for the people of the Philippines. The country, made up of several islands was hit by the strongest typhoon named Yolanda. As the super typhoon entered the Philippines' area of responsibility, its winds reached the highest possible, which international weathermen, meteorologists and scientists call a level 5 cyclone.
A cyclone number 5 is the highest in the list of possible storm signals, which typhoon Yolanda, international name "Haiyan" went past on the gauge scales. Despite the tremendous efforts of the Philippines to get ready for the catastrophe, no one could have been able to be prepared for something that only now has happened in the country.
The natural calamity has caused many people to lose their homes, belongings and worst of all, each other from the devastation caused by the typhoon. The good thing now is that many people are going out of their way in order to help the people in the Philippines.
Hollywood celebrities and international stars, such as talk show host Ellen De Generes tweeted to her millions of followers in order to help donate what they could to help those in the Philippines. Other celebrities such as Katy Perry and Rihanna have also tweeted and are currently trying to raise funds for the victims of tropical storm, "Haiyan" and are making sure people are aware of where they can donate money to and help with relief goods.

A heartwarming story of a little boy in Japan, who took all his savings from his piggybank because he saw the devastation on television.
Shoichi Kondoh, a six year old boy from Japan asked his parents to help him give all the savings he had from his piggybank to the Philippines. The little boy, who was accompanied by his mother, gave JPY 5000 to the Philippine embassy. The Philippine embassy showed their joy and happiness over the simple but heartfelt gesture from one of their youngest cash donor, Shoichi Kondoh a six -year-old boy.
This just goes to show that anyone can help anyway they would like to and it would be truly accepted when it comes from the heart and willingness of the person.
