Despite having Neil Patrick Harris host the 65th annual Emmy Awards this year, there have been a lot of criticism on the Emmy Awards.

For viewers who have not been able to watch the Emmy Awards there are a lot of spoilers here. The 65th Annual Emmy Awards started with a blast as the stars took the red carpet showing their wonderful outfits and gowns. There were more best dressed celebrities this year than those who forgot to hire a stylist for them. Among the best dressed was Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara. The show had also won the Emmy for Best Outstanding Comedy.

Well, most people awaited Neil Patrick Harris' dance number and he did not do it until the middle of the show. The the title of the musical was aptly and hilariously called "it's the musical in the middle of the show." There have been spoofs on NPH's "excessive hosting" that were funny. The night also brought about the "BEST.SPEECH.EVER" that was given by Emmy winner Merritt Wever.

Talk about the onstage antics of the previous hosts of the Emmy Awards and a segue to a Kevin Spacey voice over-excellent. There have been lots of funny moments such as Tina Fey and Amy Poehler asking Neil Patrick Harris to "Twerk" without his pants.

The evening was an elegant and classy one, nothing to tease about and to worry about. People may think of it as rather "boring" because nothing wild or unsought for, like anyone "twerking" took place at the Emmy Awards-the show is a prestigious one and it did just what a prestigious award show does, it awards winners and presents this in a classy manner, hence the show was not the worst and it was not the Best but it was close to the Best Emmy Awards show.
