She delivered a short, but impressive speech so Wever became a social media sweetheart for her terseness.

Michael Douglas ("Behind the Candelabra"), outstanding lead actor in miniseries or movie: great insinuation as he thanked co-star Matt Damon. "Obviously, there is one nominee in particular that I have to thank. This was a two-hander and Matt, you're only as good as your other hand ... You really deserve half of this, so you want the bottom or the top?"

Steven Soderbergh ("Behind the Candelbra"), outstanding director in miniseries or movie:

Soderbergh's acceptance speech was simply awesome. "I hope all the people that deserve to be thanked will understand if I say that no matter what we all did and no matter how well we did it and no matter how much support we got, if Michael and Matt don't show up with those performances, we don't have a movie. So gentlemen, I thank you most of all. Salute."
