90210's Trevor Donovan is now hounded by a credit card company alleging that Donovan, who plays the affluent Teddy in the show, owes them a large sum of money even before he became a famous Hollywood star.

A lawsuit was filed against Donovan early this week alleging that the star previously applied and received credit card from Wells Fargo four years ago. Since 2006 up to July 2009, Wells Fargo claimed that Trevor Donovan's credit has reached $42, 469.69.

Trevor Donovan's credit has been sold and now, a Investment Retrievers are attempting to collect money from the 90210 series regular, together with interest and attorneys' fees. A representative for Trevor did not issue any comment on the suit.

Donovan is no pauper since he allegedly acquired the credit card in 2006. Back in 2007, he had a brief appearance on the NBC daytime soap Days of Our Lives as Jeremy Horton. He also had a minor role in the 2009 sci-fi movie Surrogates as the Surrogate form of Bruce Willis.

Trevor Donovan landed his current role on 90210 in 2009, which was the a recurring character but was upgraded to a series regular early this year. The third season of 90210 premiered mid-September, further guaranteeing that Donovan, if the suit prospers, can pay his back dues.
