Dhoom 3, produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films, is one of the most anticipated films of this year. Along with fans of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, his wife Kiran Rao is also eagerly awaiting its release and has no clue about its surprise element and her husband's role.

Aamir Khan discusses his movies with a few people, including his director wife. This time, however, Kiran Rao, director of critically acclaimed Dhobi Ghat, wanted to know "nothing" about the movie before its theatrical release, according to a report published in a leading tabloid.

"This is the first time in seven-eight years I don't know anything about a film that Aamir is doing," she told media persons. She just knows a "little about the character that Aamir is playing."

Aamir Khan is playing the role of an antagonist in this third movie of popular Dhoom franchisee. According to the tabloid report, Kiran Rao told his superstar husband, "At least for once let me come in as an audience and watch your film. I want to go there, not knowing anything, be able to react as an audience, so 'Dhoom 3' is that film."

Slated for a Christmas release, Dhoom 3 also stars Bollywood's popular actress Katrina Kaif. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra are reprising their roles of cops from the earlier movies. In Dhoom, John Abraham played the antagonist while in Dhoom 2, Hrithik Roshan enthralled the audience with his antagonist moves.

Everyone is tight lipped about Aamir Khan's role and his look in the movie. According to some media reports, he is playing the role a gymnast and a martial arts expert. To get a lean and agile personality for the action drama, the perfectionist of Bollywood lost considerable weight.

Aamir Khan recently invited the cast and crew of Dhoom 3 for a biryani dinner at his new home, according to media reports. The Bollywood superstar's mother Zeenat Khan had prepared the briyani.

Kiran Rao is currently busy presenting Anand Gandhi's directed Ship of Theseus. She feels that taking the help of her famous husband to promote the critically acclaimed movie would have harmed it.

"His coming on board would have harmed the film because Aamir comes with a huge audience and expectations. So when Aamir says watch this film, lot of people will turn up. But this is a different film. So they may feel disappointed," she said in an interview cited in The Times of India.

An indie film Ship of Theseus is scheduled for a release on July 19, 2013 in five cities of India (30 screens).

"I was not intending to present a film. Anand and I got along well I asked him if I could be of any help to him. It is a small film he is a first time filmmaker. I feel it is important to support each other when we make different kind of films," Kiran Rao said.
