New Kids on the Block fans don't appreciate having a brother of one of the Backstreet Boys perform on their idols' turf. According to Aaron Carter, four grown men beat him after they learned he is scheduled to perform in Boston, where the members of the '80s boyband are from.

Aaron posted pictures of his bruised hand and face on Instagram, giving a shout out to NKTOB member Jordan Knight for the violence the group's alleged followers caused him.

"Eh @jordanKnight this one of your homies? He got his ass handed to him last night but his boys got me.. #Soldier," he captioned the photos.

According to the 25-year-old singer, who is the brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, he was leaving with a friend last night in Boston when a huge guy approached him in the parking lot and yelled, "I heard you're doing a show here tomorrow. This is the town of the New Kids."

Aaron told TMZ that three other guys appeared from a gold Chevy Malibu, who all ganged up on him, with one punching him on the face.

He was able to hit back with a few punches before the so-called NKTOB fans took off, though.

"I think my knuckles might be broken, but that's what they get. People think I'm a pretty little white boy but no way. I think I won. I'm still standing."

Aaron said the scuffle wouldn't deter his show, and that he doesn't intend to file a police report because calling the cops is "girlie."

The former child singer came to fame when he was just 9 years old, and was introduced as Nick's young brother. His hit tracks included the juvenile songs "Crush on You" and "I Want Candy."

Fun fact: fellow child stars Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff feuded because of Aaron. He was in a relationship with Hilary in 2003 when he dated Lindsay at the same time without the knowledge of the two girls.
