Academy Awards, Oscars 2013 Worst Dressed: Anne Hathaway Disappoints, Early Nip Slip? [PHOTOS]
See if your favorite or hated star landed on our worst-dressed list as early as now.
Awards seasons are like field days for fashion critics, and for this year's Academy Awards, some stars arrived in disappointing ensembles that ultimately placed them in the "2013 worst dressed" list.
E! host Juliana Rancic disappointed with her simple-yet-ineffective dress for such an extravagant event. The host wore a Rafael Cennamo satin slim gown with misplaced folds that hid her naturally curvy body.
Newscaster Robin Roberts' appearance at the red carpet made her primetime comeback a "not-so-memorable" one. The royal blue suede number the broadcaster sported make her look like a mannequin.
It seems that newscasters need to get better stylists. Good Morning America host, Lara Spencer, wore an unflattering one-shoulder shiny dress that made her look older, and unfortunately, boring for the red carpet.
Jane Fonda needs a time machine because it seems that the actress is stuck in the 80's with her shoulder-padded yellow dress. Not only did it make her look like a budding "golden girl," but the color choice is just unpleasant to the eyes. Some critics tag it as "fabolous," while ultra-chic fashionistas say it is tacky and weird.
Sandra Bullock looked less than impressive in her Elie Saab embellished dress simply because that kind of style has been seen many, many times in red carpet event. It looks like Bullock's stylist is not up to trend with the way she presented the actress at this year's glamorous event.
"Is comedienne Melissa McCarthy wearing a blanket?" ask many Twitter posters as the actress stepped on the carpet in a grey David Meister dress. A lot of dresses can do Melissa McCarthy's figure a lot better, but it looks like her stylist got lazy for the most important event in the entertainment industry.
The most shocking bad dress reveal during this year's red carpet is Anne Hathaway's baby pink Valentino satin dress. The way the ribbons tie on her back makes her look like a throw pillow, and the seams don't look like they've been put a lot of work on. Another bad showmanship of craft from the dressmakers is the way the actress' nipples show on photos. Click the slideshow to see!
