Acer is stepping up their game releasing as many new laptop and tablet offerings as with top competitors like Samsung and Asus. Dating back to the Computex 2013, the company has been working double time introducing several products to the market in just a short span of time - Acer Aspire P3, R7 and Iconia W3.

Acer is giving other tech and computer manufacturers a run for their money as they run on top gear producing devices at a rapid pace. The Iconia also comes as a surprise because it is the smallest of its kind to date - smallest tablet running on Windows 8.

The Taiwanese giant just released three devices than can rival the likes of Asus and Samsung. The devices launched recently include an11.6-inch ultrabook (Acer Aspire P3), 15.6-inch convertible laptop (Acer Aspire R7) and the world's smallest Windows 8 table to date - Acer Iconia W3. All these devices promises to bring something different to the table giving Acer a chance to boost their position in the market.

Acer Aspire P3 is a convertible ultrabook running on Windows 8. It weighs around 1.3kg and measures 0.77-inch think. It also has an 11.-inch HD display. The P3 also features Intel Core i3 and i5 processors. These come with Intel HD graphics as well as 4GB RAM. The ultrabook is equipped with Dolby audio. Additionally, the Aspire P3 has a front and rear HD camera which makes it more unique than other similar products.

Connectivity options include micro-HDMI, Wi-Fi, USB 3.0 and Bluetooth. The battery can last up to 6 hours. Hard drive offers up to 120GB. Acer is also including a Bluetooth keyboard and protective case with the device. Acer Aspire R7, on the other hand, is a convertible laptop running on Windows 8. The device features an "Ezel" hinge allowing people to choose between two orientations: tablet or laptop.

Acer Aspire R7 has a 15.6-inch 1080 display. The display is also 10-point-mult-touch. It runs on Intel Core i5 processor offering 6GB of RAM along with a 500GB hard drive. The laptop is also equipped with Dolby Audio and Intel HD graphics. Other features include, Wi-FI, HD webcam, Bluetooth 4.0, US 3.0 and card reader and HDMI.

As mentioned, the Acer Iconia W3 is the world's smallest tablet running on Windows 8. Acer previously introduced the device at the Computex 2013. It weighs 500 grams, measures 11mm thick and has an 81.-inch LCD display. Resolution is at 1280x800 pixels. The Windows 8 system is supported by Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail chipset.
