Tech manufacturers like Acer are gearing up for the release of Google's Nexus 7.2. The hype around the device reveals the increasing demand and shifting interest over tablets on the market. Acer is planning to take advantage of this increasing demand - the company plans to release a tablet running on Tegra 4 chipset.

If reports coming from Italy were true then Acer is coming up with an excellent and monster tablet. As mentioned, the tablet will run on a Tegra 4 chipset. This offers 2560 x 1344 pixels worth of display. Display wise and computing performance, people can already expect a lot from Acer's tablet.

Speculations also suggest that Acer will also be including 2GB RAM. This will give users the opportunity to do more with their tablet. They can include more applications or programs to make the tablet more functional.

The Tegra 4 chipset along with the 2GB RAM allows the tablet to keep up with just about anything. The tablet clocks in at 1.8GHz. Reports indicate Acer will include a NVIDIA GPU. Unless NVIDIA is working on their own chipset then there is high chance that Acer's tablet will run on the Tegra 4.

The new tablet from Acer also gives the Nexus 7 a run for its money. The device is twice as faster and the display is even better. Acer's tablet features the Chromebook Pixel-esque. The tablet packs a lot of power for a device only priced at $200. Acer is not confirming anything yet. In case the reports about the specs and price are all true then Acer has got a winner on its side.

Price can compete with the Nexus lineup. The tablet packs up great features that can make it a winner in the market. Analysts wait for Acer's confirmation about the monster tablet.
