Acer is Changing the Standards for Touch-Type Duality, Heralding a New Era
Acer India has unleashed a series of Windows 8 devices all boasting of touch-enabled features. These devices have a slim design and offer dual functionalities for excellent computing experience. The launch of these tablet and touch plus notebook computers herald a new era of computing devices and experience.
Acer projects that by 2015 around 80% of their product offerings will be touch-enabled. Customers are increasingly shifting towards touch controls emphasizing the increasing and more potential need for touch-enabled devices. Touch functions allow people to switch conveniently from one task to another. Tasks like checking emails, browsing the web and watching videos seem easier when they can be done with a touch or swipe of a finger.
The touch-based products will transform the focus on the company and redefine the experience they give to consumers. Acer is working intently on providing progressive and revolutionary design. Managing Director for Acer India, Harish Kohli said the following about the company's strategy:

One of the flagship products of Acer, the Iconia W3 is a touch-enabled tablet that currently the world's smallest tablet running on Windows system. The tablet was carefully designed to bridge the computing needs of people using laptops and people using tablets.
