Actress Misty Upham is mysteriously missing from her home. The news was confirmed by her parents who claim that the actress had been untraceable since October 6.

Upham was last seen in her Washington apartment last Sunday. Since then, nobody has a clue about the actress's whereabouts. Meanwhile, her father has filed a missing persons report and is in great distress.

According to Hollywood Life, the father of 'August: Osage County' star fears that she might be in deep trouble. He is in a panic mode as the actress has been depressed and getting suicidal thoughts lately.

After the last conversation he had with his talented daughter on October 5, the actress seemed extremely depressed and said something vaguely in the lines of not to worry about her anymore.

Due to her depressive tendencies and past suicidal threats, her father reported the matter as he found their last conversation distressing. Police soon responded to the call, but she was already gone by the time they reached her place.

Auburn police department had since been looking for the actress everywhere without any success so far. The actress' father, Charles Upham, also mentioned some undisclosed medical conditions in the missing person's report.

In the interview given to Hollywood Reporter, he had hinted about some medication the actress used to take and changed recently. The alteration possibly resulted in bouts of erratic behaviour. In addition, the actress was claimed to be in financial stress based on a statement given by a source close to her. People magazine reported that the actress could not even pay her rent on time and had been struggling to make ends meet while working in show business.

This is not the first time such an episode happened in Upham's life. As per multiple sources, the police visited Upham's apartment to check on her after suicidal complaints at least four times. Moreover, this sudden disappearance is her behavioural trait as she often goes away without telling anyone. However, this is the longest time period for which she has gone missing. This latest disappearance has been disturbing her whole family.

Upham is an American actress best known for her role in 'Frozen River', which was released in 2008. She also played a key role in 'August: Osage County', as well as recently completed shooting for her next flick 'Cake' alongside Jennifer Aniston.
