Actresses Jaime Pressly and Estella Warren were questioned by the police after getting into a fight over a bag. Pressly allegedly accused the "Planet of the Apes" actress of stealing her assistant's purse and phone at the Hollywood club Bootsy Bellows on Friday.

Celebrity Web site Radar Online that the Emmy Award-winning "My Name Is Earl" actress was at a private house in Los Angeles to help celebrate a friend's birthday when her assistant's handbag went missing.

The bag's content includes the assistant's iPhone and Pressly's own keys. They used the phone's app to track down the bag, only to discover that the bag was at the Bootsy Bellows. Pressly left the party with her friends to go to the club, where she spotted Warren holding an iPhone. She immediately approached the other actress and insisted that the phone Warren was holding was her assistant's, but Warren claimed it was hers.

An eyewitness told the Web site, "Estella was adamant it was hers, but when Pressly told her to unlock it, she couldn't. So she took it, along with the handbag, peered inside and claimed a number of items in there belonged to her assistant."

Us Magazine added that the police got involved in the altercation when drugs were discovered in Warren's purse.

"Jaime and her assistant were volunteering for a drug test. They said the drugs weren't theirs," a source said.

Pressly and Warren have had their run-ins with the law in the past. Both were arrested in separate incidents in 2011 for DUI.

Pressly was arrested in January of that year for suspicion of DUI. She pleaded no contest and received three years of informal probation. Warren, on the other hand, was charged with DUI, hit-and-run, battery on a police officer, and resisting a police officer in May 2011 after she hit three parked cars and fled the scene. She pleaded no contest and was ordered to six months of rehab.
