Maroon 5's front man Adam Levine and Victoria's Secret model Anne V called it quits after two years in a relationship.

A spokesperson of the 26-year-old model confirmed that the pair has broken up after two years of dating. Although the relationship didn't last, Anne said that they remain friends and supportive of each other.

"Adam and I have decided to separate in an amicable and supportive manner. We still love and respect each other as friends. I wish him all the best," Anne whose full name is Anne Vyalitsyna said.

The Russian-born model and the 33-year-old "The Voice" judge met back in 2010 in Las Vegas. They both admitted that they didn't hit it off well the first time they met.

"He thought I was a stuck-up bitch and I kind of thought he was a d*****bag musician," she said previously.

The couple was rumored to have encountered a problem with their relationship earlier this year but Adam, who spoke last February said that he was determined to make the relationship with Anne work.

"This is the most functional relationship I've ever been in. I don't want to screw it up," the singer said.

Levine previously dated Jessica Simpson, Maria Sharapova and Cameron Diaz. He also had a four year relationship with Vogue editor Jane Herman. The two met in high school and details about his heartbreak over their split can be felt in their debut album "Songs About Jane" in 2002.
