Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has a new partner in the form of rock legend Stevie Nicks. The two musicians will pair up in the upcoming season of "The Voice" where Adam will serve as a coach to a team of contestants and Nicks will be tapped as one of his mentors for his wards.

The Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks will be the latest among a growing list of superstars that have made an appearance in "The Voice" either as coaches or team mentors. Nicks has reportedly been tapped by Adam Levine to help him in building a formidable team which he hopes would spawn the upcoming season's winner.

"The Voice" is now on its seventh season and Levine has been one of the mainstay coaches in the show along with country superstar Blake Shelton. Other coaches that have taken their turns alongside the two mainstays are Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Shakira and Usher.

Contestants vie for the accolade of being called "The Voice" under the tutelage of the coaches and numerous advisers have appeared in the show to give their own advice to the contestants. Adam's team has been mentored in the past by such talents as Alanis Morissette, Mary J. Blige and Coldplay's Chris Martin. Other teams have had the privilege of working under the tutelage of Matchbox 20's Rob Thomas, Taylor Swift, Sheryl Crow and the iconic Cher among others. Blake Shelton has also taken advantage of the services of his Grammy-winning wife, Miranda Lambert.

Competition has been especially strong between Adam and Blake who have won all the previous seasons between them. Adam has won in two previous seasons while Blake has won three. The exchange between the two was only interrupted in the latest season where they were beaten by Usher's ward, Josh Kaufman.

In the seventh season, newbie coaches Pharell Williams and No Doubt's Gwen Stefani will be joining Adam and Blake in attempting to discover this year's winner. Taking a page off Blake Shelton's book, Stefani has reportedly already enlisted the help of her rock star husband, Gavin Rossdale of Bush to be her team mentor.
