Adele Delivers Sensational Bond Theme for "Skyfall" [PHOTOS AND AUDIO VIDEO]
British singer, Adele, belts out her amazing vocal ability to the theme song of the latest James Bond movie "Skyfall."
Fans would be delighted to hear the Grammy Award-winning music artist make another hit single in the music charts once again. "Skyfall" was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London with a 77-piece orchestra. The theme song will be the second time for the James Bond film to carry the same title since Madonna's "Die Another Day" back in 2002.
"Adele manages to imbue this filmic torch song with something of her own, a sense of personality and heart," music critic Neil McCormick wrote on the Daily Telegraph.
Meanwhile, Mirror reports that Adele's "Skyfall" performance was coined by the James Bond fans like a classic sound.
"There are three types of Bond song - one is bold, brassy and sexy like Goldfinger, another is reflective and mournful like You Only Live Twice, and the third is anthemic and adventurous like Live And Let Die," Ajay Chowdhury of the James Bond International Fan Club told the Mirror.
"Adele's song is very definitely reflective and mournful. Co-written by her and Paul Epworth, with an arrangement by Epworth and JAC Redford, this 50th anniversary theme is Bondian but very Adele too," Chowdhury further added.
More positive feedbacks are now given to Adele's "Skyfall" theme song compared to the previous tracks of the James Bond franchise.
"You Know My Name" by Chris Cornell from the film "Casino Royale" and "Another Way To Die" duet by Alicia Keys and Jack White from "Quantum of Solace" received little reception with their performances on the 007 theme songs. Vulture, a New York-based entertainment website, reported a positive feedback by that Adele's rendition of "Skyfall" has a shade of Shirley Bassey which makes it sexy and cinematic.
The 23rd installment to the James Bond film franchise," Skyfall," is due for a release on October 26 in the United Kingdom then it will officially hit the theaters and IMAX on November 9.
