The 1980s classic Disney movie “Adventures in Babysitting” has been remade after almost thirty years.

While that on its own is already exciting, it gets even more special as the release of this film would make the 100th Disney Channel original movie. This follows the footsteps of “High School Musical,” “Camp Rock” and many other which made millions of childhoods all over the world more colourful. These also skyrocketed the careers of Zac Efron, Demi Lovato, The Jonas Brothers, among many others.

In an interview by Heat, Sofia Carson revealed that she did her own stunts and they kept on singing songs from artists such as Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars. She also noted that she had never been as cool as her character Lola Perez. That spills out just how much fun she had behind the scenes. She considers the rap battle to be her favourite scene while filming.

"It was the first time rapping, we were in this awesome rap club. The energy was electric, the rhythm was amazing and it's a really memorable moment." Carson adds.

In describing her experience while shooting, Carson says that it was an adventure of a lifetime. It looks like her experience is justified by the wonderful adventures in the movie itself.

While the original film, which was shown in 1987, showed just one babysitter and her escapades in in a long and cold night in Chicago, the reboot plans to add another one. Two babysitters might just be the equation to even more excitement for this reboot. Those who loved the original might find themselves loving this version twice as much, as they are in for double the action.

“Descendants” actress Sofia Carson and her fellow Disney Channel and “Girl Meets World” star Sabrina Carpenter will be seen in this reprise. The pair is sure to bring the audience at the edge of their seats as they manage going through a night while being in charge of several rambunctious children, writes Metro.

“Adventures in Babysitting” premiered in July 15 but will be repeatedly shown on the Disney Channel. It also airs on Disney Channel Australia.
