After 11 Long Years, ‘No Doubt’ Reunites and Performs at Teen Choice 2012
After taking more than a decade of hiatus, "No Doubt" fans were in for a treat when the band performed again for the first time at the Teen Choice Awards 2012.
The band's front woman hasn't been out with the group for along time after making her acting debut in "Aviator" and enjoying her solo career. But just recently at the Teen Choice Awards, the foursome got back together and their fans were undoubtedly thrilled as they performed their new single "Settle Down."
Band members, Gwen Stefani, Matt Dumont, Adrian Young and Tony Ashwin looked classy but punk when they arrived at the purple carpet. The men wore blazers while the Gwen wore a sleeveless motorcycle leather jacket paired with black leggings and stiletto.
And despite all the members being in their forties, all of them looked youthful when they appeared at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles, California. Before they performed in the event hosted by Demi Lovato and Kevin McHale, they changed into another set of outfits.
The group announced their return last May with Gwen saying that she is thrilled to be sharing new music. Their upcoming album will be released on September 25, almost eleven years apart from their last one titled "Rock Steady."
"I can't believe this is actually happening. The idea of playing our new music live is heaven on earth. Can't wait to share it!" the 42-year-old singer gushed.
