After Jennifer Garner’s subtle diss of Ben Affleck’s tattoo, Jennifer Lopez also thinks it’s ‘awful’
Another one of Ben Affleck’s exes named Jennifer hate his tattoo. After Jennifer Garner threw some shade atthe “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” star’s humongous phoenix back tattoo, Jennifer Lopez added her two cents in, calling the ink “awful.”
During her guest appearance at the US talk show “Watch What Happens Live,” Lopez told host Andy Cohen what she really thought of Affleck’s back tattoo, which he got after his planned divorce from Garner was made public.
“It’s awful!” the “American Idol” judge laughed. “I’m gonna tell him that. I’m gonna tell him, ‘What are you doing?’ It has too many colours. His tattoos have too many colours. They shouldn’t be so colourful. They should be like cooler.”
Lopez isn’t the only Affleck ex, or the only Jennifer for that matter, who thought the tattoo was questionable. Garner, who has been married to Affleck since 2005 and is now separated from him, wasn’t thrilled with it as well.
“You know what we would say in my hometown about that? ‘Bless his heart,’” the American actress who hailed from Texas told Vanity Fair. “A phoenix rising from the ashes. Am I the ashes in this scenario? I take umbrage. I refuse to be the ashes.”
The term “Bless your heart” isn’t a compliment in the southern states in the US. It is usually an expression of pity said in a sarcastic way, or a passive aggressive way of saying the person thinks he is doing something right but is not using his brains.
In Lopez’s interview with Cohen on Monday, she also cleared rumours of her alleged feud with Mariah Carey. She was seen texting during Carey’s performance at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, leading to speculations that there was bad blood between the former and current “American Idol” judges.
“There isn’t,” Lopez insisted. “First of all, that was not fair with the texting thing because I watched a lot of it. It was a long performance, okay? I watched most of it. I may have looked down for a second and people were like, ‘Look at her! Look at her!’ So not fair. I was watching her the whole time.”
When Cohen asked her if the Kardashians “stole her jam,” Lopez honestly answered that she believed her famous backside “paved the way” for the family of reality stars to become famous. The 46-year-old actress/singer/dancer, who became known as J. Lo during the peak of her singing career, also claimed credit for Jennifer Lawrence’s nickname, J. Law.
