After Justin Bieber, Britney Spears Is Thinking About Retiring
After Justin Bieber has recently announced that he is retiring, another pop superstar is thinking about retirement. Britney Spears is reflecting on this too after doing her two-year residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino and longs to go back her native Louisiana.
"I have thought about it, but I think right now is my time to perform and doing what I'm doing," Spears said in an interview with E!News as she promoted, "I Am Britney Jean."
The "Work B*tch" singer is thinking to retire and ready to have a real family life. It will be a life away from the prying eyes of the public once her contract expires. She wants more time with her growing kids, Sean Preston, 8, and Jayden, 7.
"If I happen to have another baby or something like that, I'd probably move back to Louisiana," she said. "I do miss Louisiana. I miss the people. I miss the food. I miss the way of life, how everything is really simple. There's no traffic like there is in L.A. It's really nice," she added.
There is no denying that her kids are following the footsteps of their famous mom, when both boys are showing an incredible interest .in both dancing and singing.
"Preston, he's already dancing up a storm. He shows all my dancers how he can dance. It's really funny, " Spears said.
"Jayden is actually the singer. He sings a lot," she added.
Spears seemed to be dreaming about starring in Las Vegas since she was a little girl, and this opportunity with Planet Hollywood is too big not savor it, the reason she is not yet ready to retire.
"I always kind of said that in the back of mind," she said. "I'm superstitious like that. I have a gut feeling about something and then it happens."
When asked about her dating life, the controversial singer is currently dating David Lucado, someone who is not from the industry, and she is very happy of how things are going.
"I think it does kind of help with dating someone not in the business, I could kinda understand if you're dating someone in the business they'd understand what you're going through every day and stuff. I feel like the chemistry kinda speaks for itself when you date someone out of the industry, " Spears told host Mario Lopez of Extra! TV.
