After Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr. Continues Onslaught on Twitter, Mocks Other Rumoured Next Opponents - Amir Khan and Marcos Maidana
Floyd Mayweather Jr. went on with his onslaught and nasty tweets about his rumoured next opponents on Twitter.
After posting a "Christmas card" featuring Manny Pacquiao on the eve of Christmas day, Mayweather made a joke on Amir Khan and Marcos Maidana too. The undefeated boxer must be feeling really jovial this holiday season. What is more fun than making fun of people? A little harmless fun should be okay. However, all of Mayweather's tweets may be more intense for highly-sensitive people.
"Manny Pacquiao mixed with Freddie Roach," Mayweather tweeted on Christmas day. "Meet my friend, Manny Roach. It was a digitally-altered picture showing Mayweather with a man that somewhat looks like Manny Pacquiao mixed with Freddie Roach.
Mayweather, then, posted a meme of him with another rumoured opponent for his upcoming May 3 fight British boxer Amir Khan. "Just imagine what Amir 'Con Artist' will get if his name gets picked in the Mayweather sweepstakes," he wrote on Twitter. The picture shows Khan falling down the floor of the boxing ring after, what it seems like, Mayweather landed a punch at him. It has been extensively recognised that Khan has so much interest in fighting Mayweather.
Then, there's another photo of Mayweather thumping and knocking Marcos Maidana in the face. "Can I please order a one-piece with a biscuit, no sides," he wrote as the photo's caption. Maidana has just defeated Mayweather's buddy Adrien Broner, winning the WBA welterweight championship.
Lastly, Mayweather took another joke at Pacquiao. "Juan Marquez ate Timothy Bradley's leftovers, now you're telling me I got to eat Juan Marquez's leftovers," he tweeted with a photo of him decking Pacquiao. He also made fun of Pacquiao's current tax case. "Let me talk to the IRS about this," he added. Mayweather thinks Pacquiao's tax case is the reason why the Filipino boxer wants to land a fight with him.
Again, for highly-sensitive and sore people, Mayweather's tweets could be offensive. He's just having a little harmless fun and he's most certainly doing a nice job bringing about some media hype for his next fight. We have got to commend whoever's the genius who edited the pictures because they looked so real to think Mayweather never even met those guys inside the boxing ring.
