Reports said that Paris Jackson, the daughter of the King of Pop Michael Jackson, will spend summer at the Palmsdale, California ranch of her mother Debbie Row. Paris, 15, who attempted suicide last week, is set to be released from a Los Angeles hospital.

It will be a much-needed change of scenery for the Jackson heiress who has lived all her life with her father, Michael, and two other siblings, Prince and Blanket, until the pop king died of anaesthesia overdose in 2009. After Michael's death, the three children lived with their maternal grandmother, Katherine Jackson, in the Jackson family compound in Calabasas, a high-end community.

Paris and Debbie reunited just this year, ending almost 15 years of separation that started when Paris was born.

Ahead of her ranch summer vacation, photos of Paris were published showing the teenager wearing cowboy boots.

The New York Post said Paris will spend her extended vacation, approved by grandmother Katherine, practice riding horses, lunches in five Palmsdale malls, and visiting new friends in the neighbourhood.

After Paris's suicide try, the judge who made Katherine guardian of the three Jackson children ordered an investigation into the welfare of Michael's daughter.

Despite Paris's vacation and bonding with Rowe, who used to be the nurse of Michael's doctor, the former second wife of the king of pop is not seeking custody of her daughter because she does not want to break up the siblings. Prince is her son by Michael too, but he reportedly is not interested in a relationship with Debbie.

Rowe is reportedly also in good terms with Katherine, although the rest of Michael's siblings, except for Janet, are not in favour of Debbie playing a bigger role in Paris's life, except carrying the only daughter of Michael for nine months in her tummy.
