With the BCS Championship game on their sight, Alabama and Auburn are expected to give their all on the field in Saturday's Iron Bowl at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama.

Alabama is staking its bid of winning three consecutive National Championships on the line against a surprising Auburn squad, which was not even expected to reach the top 10 of this year's BCS pool.

The Crimson Tide (11-0) has been super-dominant through 11 games this season, suffocating their opponents with the best defense in the nation. Alabama only allowed the opposition to score just 9.3 points per game.

On the other hand, Tigers (10-1) suddenly found themselves with a solid chance of booking a spot in the SEC Championship game after winning their seventh straight games, some of which are against no.24 ranked Ole Miss, no.7 Texas A&M, and no.25 Georgia.

However, Alabama head coach Nick Saban is confident that his team will have the job done on Saturday amid a daunting task of beating a well-motivated Auburn Tigers team.

Our focus obviously needs to immediately shift to the opportunities that we have created for ourselves and the games that we have in the future," Saban said after the game. "Obviously the one that we have this week coming up against Auburn is a very important game. They have a great team. They've had a great season.

Crimson tide quarterback AJ McCarron believed Alabama is ready to take on the next challenge in their attempt to pull off a rare three-peat in college football.

"I really don't care what their record is," McCaroon told ESPN. "They're still the next team in our way trying to take what we've worked for."

Auburn Tigers halfback Jay Prosch considers their Iron Bowl matchup with Alabama is an ordinary game, though he assured they are going to give everything they got for the big game.

"It feels like we've been preparing for every other team, not really anything different," Prosch said. "We all know it's a huge game and we're going to play our hearts out, preparing like we normally do."

In a matchup between the no.1 team and no.4 squad in the nation, the winner will most likely get enough number of votes to catapult them to the BCS Championship game. Meanwhile, Ohio State, Florida State and Oregon will have the opportunity to sneak in for the other spot in the National title game.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Auburn Tigers can be watched live on CBS at 3:30 p.m. The game can also be watched online via live streaming feed.
