"Modelling is so hard," complained the 17-year-old Ireland Baldwin as she poses for DuJour magazine's Fall 2013 issue. The daughter of once power couple Kim Basinger and Alec Balwin, Ireland Baldwin is an aspiring model that exudes effortless glamour as she poses for photographer Bruce Weber.

The themed photoshoot required Ireland to pose with several handsome models wearing kilts for the "Luck Of The Irish" photoshoot. But it seemed that the job is teaching her a few lessons, one of which is that modelling is not an easy profession.

"(It's) much harder than I anticipated. It really takes a lot out of you," she told the fashion magazine.

But the experince allowed her to appreciate the advantages of working with different people. "Though, it is really fun," she added. "And I never thought I would meet all these lovely people."

The blond beauty opened up about her plans of follwing her parents footsteps and her modelling career. "My end goal is to act, write, and direct. I am interested in everything in front of and behind the camera," she shared.

"Acting has always been an interest of mine. I have been imitating people since I was a little girl. I grew up on my parent's movie sets and so desperately wanted to be in their position. I would love to be in a comedy or remake of a classic novel."

"I truly admire Chloe Moretz. I think she is brilliant and could kill any role. I also love Jack Nicholson. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and The Shining are two of my favorite films. He can do no wrong," she shared when asked what kind of actress she would like to be.

But for now, the young Baldwin is busy posing in front of the camera. Her lastest photoshoot was with V magazine, where she was featured as one of the "Next Wave of Superstars."

With modeling stints here and there, it seemed that Ireland Baldwin is on the right path . She plans to enroll in an improv class before auditioning for a role in the famous comedy troupe, the "Upright Citizens Brigade."
