Alessandra Ambrosio Gives Birth to a Baby Boy in Brazil

According to widespread reports from various social networking sites, the Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio gave birth to a baby boy in Brazil.

Never underestimate the power of social networking for it could oftentimes deliver up-to-date news faster than any media outlet. It is also due to these social media platforms which is why the world is notified that Alessandra has finally given birth to her second child.

According to posts from people who are close to the couple, Alessandra and partner Jamie welcomed the birth of their second child in Brazil yesterday.

"Grandson just born in Brazil!" Alessandra's mother-in-law posted on her Facebook page. And just hours before she gave birth, the model posted a photo of a beach with a caption that says, "Beautiful day!!! Exciting week ahead!!!"

Indeed it turned out exciting as she finally gave birth to her second child. The couple's 3-year-old daughter Anja was also born in the same city.

"Congratulations to Alessandra Ambrosio who had a baby boy today," Love magazine which has worked with the model numerous times also sent their regards to Alessandra on Twitter.

On Sunday, she posted photos on Facebook from her baby shower. There's a selection of photos which even included a snap of her belly covered in paint.

"So much fun at my little boy baby shower!! Now just have to wait for him to arrive!!!" she tweeted then.

It was December of last year when she revealed that she is expecting her second baby, weeks after she walked on the catwalk for the Victoria's Secret annual fashion show.

The model also stated that she is determined to get back in shape after she gives birth for the launch of the Victoria's Secret store in London this coming July.

"I only have a few more jobs to do before I have the baby, all editorial, no more catwalk now - and then I hope to be back in London for the opening of the Victoria's Secret store in July. I should definitely be back for the next Victoria's Secret show, I have quite a while until then," she said.
