Fans of the popular Percy Jackson book series were swept by the on-screen sequel, Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters, thanks not only to the heavier fight scenes, the emotional scenes from Demi-Gods with no shortage of father issues or the incorporation of a cute cyclop among Percy's trusted allies. The viewers also get to experience not one hottie but two hotties this time! Is it just us or Alexandra Daddario aka Annabeth became sexier and cuter right before our eyes? Then there is Leven Rambin, who played Clarisse, the annoying and aggravating rival of Percy, but indispensable still the same? It's really cute too that they both have to change their hair colors for the movie. Alexandra Daddario needed to go blonde, while Leven Rambin needed to go brunette. No matter their hair colours though, they both look amazing.

There may not be a direct rivalry going on between them (on-screen between the characters they play or off-screen as individually-acclaimed new actresses), but it's hard not to compare them to each other, being two of the hottest characters in this sequel. The fact that they're both girls makes it hard not to envision catfights between the actresses, well, friendly ones anyway, if there are such a thing. Who do you think is the hotter one? OR should we even choose?

Let us go beyond their movie characters and learn more about the sweet ladies who portray characters that are not at all ... sweet. Not at all.

Alexandra Daddario aka Annabeth, Daughter of Athena

Facts. Born on March 16, 1986. The 27-year-old star was born and raised in New York by her lawyer-parents. She's a mix of Italian, Irish and Czechoslovakian. Aside from the Percy series, Alexandra can be seen in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Bereavement as well as Texas Chainsaw 3D among others.

On Playing Annabeth. The actress feels wonderful to be part of something this big, especially among kids. "It's great to be a part of something that inspires kids," she says. "It's really a wonderful franchise to be a part of."

Leven Rambin, aka Clarisse, Daughter of Ares

Facts. Born on May 17, 1990. Aside from playing Clarisse, she is also better known as Glimmer, the District 1 Tribute in the Hunger Games. She also has recurring roles in Grey's Anatomy, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Wizards of Waverly Place and CSI. The 23-year-old actress also played look-alike half-sisters Lily Montgomery and Ava Benton for four years on All My Children.

On Playing Clarisse. Leven reportedly claimed she was pleased with playing Clarisse because the character is tough and no damsel in distress, like the actress herself.
