An alien aka extraterrestrial being was reportedly snapped with a female government employee at her workplace in a Philippine province in last week's odd news. The Filipina government employee whose supposedly 'solo' photo showed a small, odd E.T. figure was identified as Emily Santodelsis. The Visayan Daily Star ran the curious alien photo, which was taken with Santodelsis' mobile phone camera at about 4 p.m. on Feb. 27 (Wed).

The local news mentioned there were many personnel from the Public Order and Safety Office who saw Santodelsis pose for a photo. But no one saw any alien or paranormal creature. Many government security personnel were in the area at the time to secure the location for the visit of Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines, Menashe Bar-on.

Ms Santodelsis works at the Bacolod City Treasurer's Office. The city is the capital of Negros Occidental province in Western Visayas, Philippines. Her photo was taken by Arian Ponce, a colleague at the government office.

Santodelsis was reportedly shocked to see the alien figure right after her photo was snapped. She was "scared and shaken by what she saw on her cellphone," the daily reported. One of her co-workers decided to pray over her presumably to calm her down.

The Philippines, a largely Catholic country, is not new to reports of odd paranormal sightings. In fact, Santodelsis' colleagues had reportedly seen "about four of these 'extra terrestrial beings' in the area," the daily noted. But many of those who saw the photo on Facebook are convinced the photo was only an amateur's Photoshop work. What do you think of this alien photo?
