The All Blacks have held on to the Bledisloe Cup for a decade and Israel Daggs was vocal on how the Kiwis maintain their hunger to clinch the annual competition.

Daggs told the Sydney Morning Herald (SMH) that he detests losing. Thus gives his best in every game because it counts a lot for his team and for all of New Zealand.

Daggs was one of the All Blacks players to keep a starting nod from Coach Steve Hansen.

Hansen who needed to make some adjustments to his line-up due to injury called-up Tom Taylor and Brodie Retallick.

Taylor boasts of a distinguished patrimonial lineage having the 1987 World Cup winner Warwick Taylor as his father. He also had the highest strike rate among all New Zealand players.

Hansen commended Taylor's approach and believes that he can deliver the goods.

''He has an attitude that he wants to be there and he fits in, and he knows a lot of the [Crusaders] guys pretty well which makes it more comfortable,'' Hansen described of Taylor.

''We've had no trouble up-skilling him. He's got enough skills of his own.''

Meanwhile, Taylor is not influenced by the hype surrounding his call-up and will rather concentrate on his game and how he could contribute to his team's cause.

''It's my chance to prove to myself and everyone else that I can do it,'' Taylor said.

''Growing up I was lucky to have those people [All Blacks] around me to help me or make me feel comfortable and I suppose I used it to my advantage.''
