Emma Watson has stepped out of her famous character Hermione Granger and has become one of the youngest endorsers of Lancôme's Tresor Midnight Rose set for a September release this year.

According to an InStyle report, the 21-year-old actress shared her insights as she worked with Cyril Descours for the forthcoming campaign.

"The fragrance is so wholesome. It's very sweet, warm and playful. There's something magical about Midnight and the concept of a flower that only blooms at this time," Emma shares in the interview.

Emma, who is an English Literature major at Brown University, was delighted to be part of the brainstorming team for the ad storyline. She gets to express herself wholly as an artist doing the ad campaign for Lancôme.

"What I love about this story that we put together is that it's almost fate, like chance, that brings the two of them together. You never know what's going to be around the corner - that's what we wanted to get across in the fragrance - that life is magical with little surprises," adds Emma.

"It starts with an L and ends with an E. I'm sure you have guessed the new face of Lancôme is me! " tweeted Emma.

The 20-year-old actress is the youngest face of Lancôme, siding in with other international beauties Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, Penélope Cruz and Anne Hathaway.

Ms Watson earlier said she will be taking some courses back in England this year at Oxford University and is planning to go back to Brown University in 2012.
