Alter Bridge are streaming their new album "Fortress" for UK fans via MetalHammer.co.uk.

The forthcoming album "Fortress" is the band's fourth record from the studio. Three years back, they gave us "ABIII" which literally blew our minds. The album was a commercial success as it hit the Top 10 of the UK album chart.

Myles Kennedy (front man and guitar player), Mark Tremonti (guitar player), Brian Marshall (bass player) and Scott Phillips (drummer) return with this new album, "Fortress."

We have been listening to the songs from the new album by Alter Bridge, and they are going to hit the charts again. The album has some of the heaviest songs the band has ever done.

"When we started pre-production on this album, we pushed ourselves harder and further than we ever have previously in order to make the most out of every individual arrangement. We wanted this album to be our most unpredictable and exciting one yet. From the early feedback we have received, it looks like we have achieved what we set out to do," Tremonti said, as told to Stereoboard.com.

After "ABIII," the band took a break as the member got busy with other projects. Mark Tremonti had expressed his desire to produce something super heavy, and with Alter Bridge he was unable to bring out that heaviness. He formed Tremonti and released "All I Was" and he was right, the album featured some of his heaviest riffs to date.
