Ariana Grande not only won the New Artist Award at the 2013 American Music Awards on Sunday evening but she also killed it with the performance of her song "Tattooed Heart." The petite crooner with a powerfully strong voice stunned the audience as she performed on her hit number.

The 20-year-old talented singer was so wonderful in her performance that the audience had no choice but to give her a standing ovation! The singer, who is tipped as the next Mariah Carey, proved that she definitely has it in her and is someone who could very well be a regular at winning all awards in coming years.

While most artists go for an over the top performance with lots of props, dancing artists, themes and much more, Ariana wowed the audience without the help of any of these with purely her voice and singing power. [See Video below.]

The gorgeous looking singer just held the microphone in her hand and started singing. It was that simple and yet her performance was the most powerful.

For the D-Day, where Ariana won Kohl's New Artist Of The Year Award, she ditched her girly frocks and chose to wear a Dolce and Gabanna glittery red evening gown that made her look like a style diva. The pretty singer teamed up the look with matching glittery make up. The singer, who gave a stupendous performance, was actually quite nervous and expressed it to her fans before the gala night.

"Already at the venue for sound check, sooo nervous / excited for tonight #AMAs!," Grande tweeted to her 11.4 million followers before her performance.

Her performance was loved by all her fans and the comments she is receiving on the social media platform are amazing.

"See this is what I adore about Ariana Grande. She doesn't need flashy lights or 50 different dancers to give a great performance.
