Clooney And Wife Alamuddin At Venice City Hall

Amal Alamuddin's family has developed quite a liking for famous 53-year-old star George Clooney. Amal who married the actor amidst much fan fare in an state-of -art Italian wedding reportedly took him to meet her relatives during the celebartions and they couldn't stop "fangirling over him."

According to reports by Independent, Amal's aunties were overwhelmed Clooney's fame. "One started singing 'Georgie Porgie, puddin' and pie. Kissed the girls and made them cry," revealed an insider to US Weekly, adding that the woman later raved about getting a peck from a Clooney.

Amal belongs to a Muslim family and was born in Lebanon to Ramzi Alamuddin and Bariaa Alamuddin. A human rights lawyer by professions Amal has three siblings. When Amal got engaged to Clooney in April she immediately came in the public eye and was followed by paparazzi everywhere.

After getting married to Clooney, the 36-year-old has also dropped her last name and has taken Clooney's name. According to reports, it was previously speculated that being a successful and powerful woman Amal won't take the actor's name, however she went on to do so as she is "She loves George and is proud to be his wife," as reported by Independent.

"But it's precisely because she's so secure in her own position that she's not precious about her surname," a source further said about Amal's decision to take Clooney's name. The high profile couple would be dividing their time between America and London. Meanwhile, in other news, it is being said that Amal Alamuddin took help of Max Coles, the creative director of the Michael John salon, in Mayfair, London for her wedding hairstyle. Max recently revealed in an interview to Vanity Fair that Amal wanted, chic hair style and not something which changed her look every day and made her look over the top.

For her all the wedding looks Amal opted for a simple blowdry which almost complimented all her dresses and make-up. Clooney's classy wedding ensemble choices and simple hair do have indeed turned her into a fashionista too look out for. For her wedding, Amal wore a gown by late designer Oscar De La Renta.
