Amal And George Clooney Planning A Vacation To Ireland
Amal and George Clooney are reportedly planning a vacation to Ireland. This will be the first time that the Oscar winner will reportedly visit his ancestral home. George has Irish roots and he is said to be looking forward to his visit with wife Amal.
"I'm embarrassed that I've never properly been there before now. Amal has been several times, so she can show me around," he said about his visit according to Irish Independent. The actor also said his friend Bono has been planning a bike ride to Ireland for years but somehow the plan never worked out. Amal and George plan to take a trip in the summer season. This will be one of their many vacations since getting married. Recently the couple was seen celebrating their Christmas holidays in Mexico. George's friend Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber also joined him for the extended Christmas holiday in Los Cabos. They stayed at the beachside resorts for the holiday, as reported by Daily Mail.
George got married to Amal in Sept 2014. Their wedding took place in Venice and celebrations lasted for three days. Amal wore an Oscar de la Renta gown for the nuptials whereas George wore a customised Giorgio Armani tuxedo. More than 100 guests attended their nuptials. Cindy Crawford's husband Rande Gerber was the best man. The A-list couple also attended a post-wedding party in Buckinghamshire, England. Amal's parents, Ramzi and Baria Alamuddin, hosted it at the Danefield House Hotel and Spa in Marlow-on-Thames, according to Eonline.
This is the second wedding for George. He was previously married to Talia Balsam. They were married from 1989 to 1993. Post his divorce from Balsam; Clooney dated a slew of women including Ginger Lynn Allen, Sarah Larson, Elisabetta Canalis, Kelly Preston, Renée Zellweger, Krista Allen. Meanwhile, for Amal this is her first marriage. She is a London based British-Lebanese lawyer and specialises in international law, criminal law, human rights. She and George own a mansion on an island, in the River Thames at Sonning Eye in England. It is called the Mill House and costs around £10 million.
