Amanda Bynes seems to be doing so well after her rehab stint and even got herself enrolled in a fashion-related degree. She vanished from the radar of paparazzi, which is well and good for her, but she's now said to be back to her old ways. The once perky and promising Nickelodeon star got arrested for driving under the influence on Sunday. Ironically, she's just been called dull and boring days before this accident.

E! News reports that the former child star and comedic actress has been taken into custody by the California Highway Patrol at 3AM, Sunday. The fashion student was charged with a misdemeanor for DUI because she was driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

E! gathered the views of police officials, who said the 28-year old was stopped at a red light in the middle of the intersection at Riverside Drive and Van Nuys Boulevard. The officials tasked her to complete several field sobriety tests but the actress was not able to do them all.

At the police station following investigation, she was released on $15,000 bail at 12:44PM, Sunday, Page Six reports. A court date was set as well. She'll be appearing on the court on Oct. 23.

TMZ reported that a source also said that actress was under the influence of marijuana.

Considering how well she has been doing after her rehab stint, this is bad news. She had already been cleared of charges related to her 2013 bong tossing case but is still currently under probation from a 2012 DUI arrest. What this new case means for her probation remains to be seen. Hopefully, it does not derail her full recovery.

Ironically, just days before this arrest, a magazine called her dull and boring because she's being too clean and healthy. Her once controversial Twitter account is now full of life photos: pictures with her mother, sister, and even classes. This means she's really far from the girl that was usually incoherent at best. She had been so healthy and decent lately that a magazine called her no fun and boring.

"This may be good for Bynes, but it's bad for the Internet, which may explain why although she appears to have her act together, nobody has hired her for any acting work," the Empty Lighthouse Magazine wrote.

Could this current case be a reaction to what was wrote about her?
