Playboy Radio took to Twitter and offered Amanda Bynes her own hour-long hosting gig. And Amanda is looking to having a full time radio show if both party are happy. If she does accept the offer, her fans and avid followers on Twitter will have another venue for interactive conversation, like her role in “Ask Ashley” back in the days.

On June 3, 2013, Playboy Radio had publicly offered Amanda a job through Twitter, and the radio group encouraged Amanda to consider their “serious offer.”

Playboy Radio ‏@PlayboyRadio 3 Jun :@AmandaBynes “Seriously, Amanda - we want you to co-host our afternoon show for a day. Please DM your info.”

The message was retweeted by @AmandaBynes but there was no indication that the “She’s the Man” star took up the offer.

TMZ reported however, that Playboy Radio confirmed its “seriousness” to have Amanda on board as guest host. But there’s more! It looks like Playboy Radio is keen on having her not just for one day or one week. TMZ quoted the show’s rep as saying that the station is excited to have Amanda work with them FULL-TIME. TMZ also noted that the radio station “have already officially submitted an offer for Amanda to host her OWN hour-long daily radio show.”

Should Amanda take it?

Here are some reasons why Amanda should take the hosting job:

1. The Radio Show is a Great Medium for Amanda to Express Herself
Internet users know by now that Amanda Bynes has been very visible in social media and she has been maximising her accounts, especially Twitter. The actress has had a slew of drama, from bickering to offering praises to fellow celebrities and other media personalities. She has continued to earn and lose friends with her thoughts, and Amanda is one who would just think loud and indeed loud with her 12 millions of followers knowing about it in second. Having a radio show of her own can give Amanda a new medium to express her thoughts. And it’s a good thing!

2. The Show Could be Therapeutic.
The interactive nature of the job allows Amanda to relate to thousands of people everyday and therefore, it could be therapeutic. There have been mixed reports about Amanda’s mental state. Her friends and family and news outlets have expressed fear that something might be going down on Amanda Bynes.

The 29-year-old actress, fashion designer and once very popular teen star insists she is not crazy.

Amanda Bynes ‏@AmandaBynes 30 May: “I haven't spoken to Lance Bass in 11 years. To say I have a mental illness out of nowhere makes me lash out! You're making me crazy!”

But no one seems to be listening.

3. She’s Done It – on a TV series/feature “Ask Ashley.”
Therefore, it is her territory. And she might surprise people of what she can actually say on the microphone. Ask Ashley was a caustic cable show featuring young Amanda as an advice giver based on concerns faxed to her on the show.

Nickelodeon.wikia.com: "The show featured Amanda Bynes as a little girl named Ashley, who offered advice from her bedroom on a TV series. Ashley would act sweet and friendly until she read letters to her sent in by clueless viewers. After reading a letter, Ashley would scream an angry rant against the letter's author."

4. The Perks Offered by Playboy Radio is Tempting.
According to TMZ, Playboy Radio is doing its best to ensure that Amanda will not say no to its offer. Some fringe benefits await for Amanda should she give the radio hosting gig a go.

TMZ: “We’re told the org is willing to provide Bynes with a driver to take her to work… as well as her very own producer to handle the show’s logistics.”

The hosting gig will just be as easy as pie. One hour show and roughly thirty to sixty minutes preparation on the show’s segments, Amanda could sure handle it.

5. The Show Will Keep Amanda Busy and it will Definitely Open Her to More Opportunities.
Remember Amanda Bynes had retired from acting twice in her life and considered the youngest to do so at 26. She said back then that she just wanted to focus on fashion design and has been attempting to open her own fashion line. That apparently hasn’t kicked off, really.

The show could give her more avenues to look into her other potential and maximise it. She should really take the job, don’t you think?
