Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski are engaged after six months of dating
Amanda Seyfried and boyfriend Thomas Sadoski got engaged after being together for six months.
Details of the engagement are yet to be released, but a source confirmed the news to Us Weekly on Monday.
“Tommy and Amanda recently got engaged and shared the happy news with family and close friends,” the source close to the couple told the publication.
The couple first met when they starred together in the play “The Way We Get By” in 2015. They started dating after reconnecting to film the comedy flick “The Last Word,” which will be released later this year.
The news came after the actress was spotted sporting a thin silver band on her ring finger while walking her dog, Finn, in New York last week.
Amanda and Thomas began making headlines as a possible new couple earlier this year when the pair were seen walking to their trailers together in Pasadena, California. They were also spotted locking lips while having lunch at a popular organic spot in Los Angeles back in March, which sealed the deal on the romance rumours at that time.
While this is the “Red Riding Hood” star’s first marriage, the 40-year-old “The Newsroom” actor was previously married to Kimberly Hope for eight years. Amanda was in a relationship with Justin Long for two years before dating Thomas. The 30-year-old actress also previously dated her “Mama Mia!” co-star Dominic Cooper.
In an interview with E! News last year, Amanda revealed her hopes to settle down but admitted she didn’t want to wear a white dress on her wedding day.
“I got married so many times in my life – onscreen!” she said. “I don’t want a white dress! I’ve worn so many of them.”
When speaking about her hopes to start a family, she continued: “I’d like to have one in the next four or five years. And the second one can happen between 35 and 40. Or I can adopt... It’s fine. I definitely want to a couple kids.”
