Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan is open to a celebrity edition of the reality show.

In an interview, the host dropped the names of Sarah Jessica Parker, Drew Barrymore and Neil Harris as among celebrities who are Amazing Race fans.

Keoghan told Entertainment Weekly said he would love to have a celebrity version.

"If every celebrity who has told me they liked the show signed up and was a part of it, that would be huge," the New Zealand-born said.

Is an Amazing Race celebrity edition on the works?

The Emmy-winning host said there have been talks about a Hollywood edition but the realities of celebrity life make the possibility difficult.

"The question that always comes up is would we be able to get them out of their schedule," explains Keoghan. "They say they want to do it, but the reality is would their schedule allow for it, and would they really be able to put up with the schedule itself."

Meanwhile, the Amazing Race kicks off with its season 17 on September 23.
