'The Amazing Race' Season 25 Recap: Episode 1 ‘Go Big Or Go Home’ Aired On Sept. 26, 2014, Realtor Sisters Lisa And Michelle Thomson Got Eliminated In Leg 1 [WATCH VIDEOS]

"The Amazing Race," or "TAR" Season 25 aired its premiere episode titled "Go Big or Go Home" on Friday, Sept. 26, 2014. Unfortunately, a "TAR" 25 team got eliminated in this episode and it was the realtor sisters Lisa and Michelle Thomson. In Leg 1 (U.S. → U.S. Virgin Islands) of "The Amazing Race" Season 25, the 11 competing teams started the race at Times Square - Duffy Square in New York City with the show's host Phil Keoghan. Then, they proceeded to Flushing Meadows-Corona Park - Unisphere in Queens, NY.

After Queens, the teams headed to the John F. Kennedy International Airport in NYC. They boarded a plane and landed at the Cyril E. King Airport in Charlotte Amalie, Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

In Charlotte Amalie, they needed to go to the Vendor's Plaza. Then, they went to Carval Rock in Lovango Cay.

Leg 1 Roadblock (Blackbeard's Revenge in Lovango Cay):

The 11 "TAR" 25 teams hit a roadblock called "Who digs?" wherein one person from each team had to search the beach for a treasure chest which was buried in the sand. This chest contained their next clue. They had to use a liquid compass, a shovel and some specific directions to locate it.

Lisa, Keith and Scott chose to quit the "Who digs?" roadblock, Keith's team (with Whitney) and Scott's team (with Michael) got 4-hour penalties for not going through with the roadblocks. It will be applied at the start of Leg 2. Unfortunately, Lisa and Michelle Thomson, the realtor sisters from Miami, Florida arrived last and got eliminated from "The Amazing Race" Season 25.

1. Misti and Jim Raman - Married Dentists from Columbia, South Carolina (Prize: "The Save" - prevents elimination before the end of the race's Leg 9)

3. Kym Perfetto and Alli Forsythe - Urban Bike Racers from Brooklyn, New York

4. Brooke Adams and Robbie E. Strauss - Dating Pro Wrestlers from Houston, Texas and Woodbridge, New Jersey

5. Bethany Hamilton and Adam Dirks - Married Surfers from Princeville, Hawaii

6. Amy DeJong and Maya Warren - Food Scientists from Madison, Wisconsin

7. Isabelle Du and Dennis Hour - Model and Accountant from Tustin, California

8. Shelley and Nici Porter - Mother/Daughter from Detroit, Michigan

9. Keith Tollefson and Whitney Duncan - Engaged Couple and former "Survivor: South Pacific" contestants from Nashville, Tennessee

10. Michael Ward and Scott Strazzullo - Firefighters from Boston, Massachusetts

11. Lisa Thomson and Michelle Thomson - Realtor Sisters from Miami, Florida (Eliminated)
