'The Amazing Race' Season 25 Recap: Episode 4 ‘Thinly Sliced Anchovies’ Aired On Oct. 17, 2014, Dentists Misti And Jim Raman Almost Got Eliminated In Leg 4 [WATCH VIDEOS]

"The Amazing Race," or "TAR" Season 25 aired its fourth episode titled "Thinly Sliced Anchovies" on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014. The married dentists Misti and Jim Raman almost got eliminated in this episode. Luckily for them, it turned out to be a non-elimination leg. In Leg 4 (United Kingdom → Denmark) of "The Amazing Race" Season 25, the eight competing teams started the race at the Lerwick Ferry Port. Then, they rode a ferry there going to the Aberdeen Harbour. Once in Aberdeen, the teams headed to the Aberdeen Airport to catch a flight to the Copenhagen Airport in Denmark.

As soon as the eight "TAR" 25 teams arrived in Denmark, they each had to drive Ford C-Max hybrid vehicles and proceed to Malmö, Sweden. They had to use less than 0.10 US gallons (0.38 L) of gasoline during the trip to Malmö. If they do that, they were given the next clue. If not, they had to name the capital cities of Sweden (Stockholm), Denmark (Copenhagen) and Norway (Oslo). The clue instructed the teams to go back to Copenhagen for the Detour.

Leg 4 Detour ("Parking Space" or "Wedding Cake"):

The eight "TAR" 25 teams had to choose between two options for their Detour. One is "Parking Space" at the Sankt Jørgens Allé and the other is the "Wedding Cake" at Det Franske Conditori.

"Parking Space": "TAR" 25 teams had to set up a parklet, which is a mini oasis/green space in a parking lot. They were given photographs as guides on how their parklet would be set up and it has to be copied exactly. The teams also had to finish the Detour in 30 minutes to get the next clue.

"Wedding Cake": "TAR" 25 teams had to put together a kransekage, or a traditional Danish and Norwegian wreath wedding cake. They also had to decorate it with tiny Danish flags. Afterwards, they had to bring it to the Allegade 10 restaurant while riding a freight bicycle. If they do it correctly, the maître d'hôtel will approve it and sign the receipt. Then, they have to give it to the head baker named Henrik to get the next clue. The clue instructed them to head to Ida Davidsen for the Roadblock.

Leg 4 Roadblock in Ida Davidsen, Copenhagen ("Who Has A Memory For Faces?"):

One team member must get a smørrebrød (Danish open sandwiches) order from two customers in the restaurant. They had to take note of the number of the two sandwiches and then memorise the ingredients of the sandwiches they ordered. They needed to relay it to Ida Davidsen. If they were able to do it properly, they must deliver the sandwiches to the patrons and then get their next clue which told them to head straight to the VM Houses for the Leg 4 Pit Stop.

6. Shelley and Nici Porter - Mother/Daughter from Detroit, Michigan

7. Bethany Hamilton and Adam Dirks - Married Surfers from Princeville, Hawaii

8. Misti and Jim Raman - Married Dentists from Columbia, South Carolina (Used "The Save," but retained it because it was a non-elimination leg)
