‘The Amazing Race' Season 25 Recap: Episode 9 ‘You're Taking My Tan Off’ Aired On Nov. 28, 2014, The Cyclists Kym And Alli Got Eliminated In Leg 9 [WATCH VIDEOS]

"The Amazing Race," or "TAR" Season 25 aired its ninth episode titled "You're Taking My Tan Off" on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014. Cyclists Kym Perfetto and Alli Forsythe from Brooklyn, New York got eliminated in this episode. Read on for the "The Amazing Race" Season 25 recap of episode 9 "You're Taking My Tan Off" to find out what else happened in this episode.

In Leg 9 (Malta → Singapore) of "The Amazing Race" Season 25, the five competing teams started the race at the Singapore Changi Airport. They boarded a plane from Malta International Airport to go there. But, they had a side trip to Paris. From Paris, the teams were instructed to book their own flights to Singapore.

Once in Singapore, the teams rode a bumboat from Changi Village to the island of Pulau Ubin. They had to find a coconut stand. Then, they had to drink all of the coconut's water. Once they finish doing that, they were given the next clue which contained information about the Fast Forward.

Leg 9 Fast Forward: "Riding The Wave"

Teams had the option to go to the Wave House in Sentosa to surf and stay on the board for two minutes while riding an artificial wave. If they are successful in this task, they can go straight to the Pit Stop. Kym and Alli as well as surfers Bethany Hamilton and Adam Dirks tried their luck at the Fast Forward. Of course, the surfers beat the cyclists because they had more experience surfing the waves.

Leg 9 Roadblock at the Marina Bay Sands (Who Wants To be A Funambulist?):

The "TAR" 25 teams had to go to the 57th floor of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. One team member had to walk on a tightrope between two of the towers of the hotel. After the roadblock, they were instructed to go to the Centre Square of Raffles Place to look for their next clue. It will be given by a man walking there with a red and yellow placard on his back for "Onward Singapore."

Leg 9 Detour: "China Cups" and "Chilli Crabs"

1. "China Cups" - The teams had to go to the Hong San See Temple and endure a painful massage with fire cupping to remove toxins and increase blood flow. If they get through it, the masseuse will give them the next clue.

2. "Chilli Crabs" -The teams had to go to the Robertson Quay - Red House and crack open several crab claws smothered in hot chilli sauce. They had to gather 2 pounds (0.91 kg) of crabmeat and give it to the head chef to get the next clue.

After performing their choice of Detour successfully, they were given the next clue which told them to head to the Fort Canning Park where they can do a Double U-Turn to stall two teams in the race. Then, they got another clue that told them to search five official Merlion monuments in Singapore to find the next clue for the Pit Stop.

5. Kym Perfetto and Alli Forsythe - Urban Bike Racers from Brooklyn, New York (Eliminated)
