On the April 15 run, teams face a set of insurmountable challenges that will test not only their skills to accomplish each task, but their strength and endurance to remain in the running.

The 28th installment of the award-winning CBS reality TV show will air its eighth episode titled “I Have a Wedgie and a Half” on Friday. TV Guide reports that the teams fly all the way to Dubai in United Arab Emirates. It’s going to be a battle of man vs animal – the contestants get to race with camels and experience taking a dip into a water tank filled with ferocious sharks.
CBS posted sneak peeks of the upcoming episode. In one preview video, engaged choreographers Dana and Matt are seen trudging along the desert in the middle of the sizzling hot weather. Dana seems to be annoyed by the fact that Matt is playing it cool while she rants about their situation. Another trailer shows the contestants plummeting down – super fast – from an extremely tall water slide.
“The Amazing Race” Season 28 recap of Leg 7
On the seventh episode, titled “Welcome to Bloody Fingers 101,” teams were instructed to travel by train from Armenia to Tbilisi, Georgia. They went straight to Freedom Square, where they searched for the Saint George statue to receive their next clue. The competitors then raced to Narikala Fortress and were told to ride a gondola until Jvari Monastery, where they were given the Detour clue. The teams had to choose between Clean and String. Those who picked Clean were instructed to Iago’s Winery where they had to wash traditional clay pots, and only get the next clue after they satisfy the owner. In String, teams headed to Arsekidzis 15 to make traditional candy, called churchkhela, from hazelnuts. Only those who successfully produce five were given the next clue. For the Roadblock, teams found themselves at Rustaveli Theater where one representative had to perform a fast Georgian dance with the Georgian National Ballet. Teams with the correct steps and satisfactory performance received the final clue for the leg, which instructed them to go to the pit stop located at the Rike Park, where host Phil Keoghan was waiting for them.
For the first time since the race began, newlyweds Zach and Rachel King reached the mat before any other team did. They won a trip for two to Turks and Caicos. Dating gamers Burnie Burns and Ashley Jenkins were named team number two, followed by pro Frisbee fellas Brodie and Kurt.
Here’s the rest of the "TAR" Season 28 team placement in the seventh episode: Engaged choreographers Dana Borriello and Matt Steffanina; mother and son duo Sheri and Cole LaBrant; and best friends Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl. Father and daughter Scott and Blair were the last team to arrive at the pit stop, eliminating them from the race.
