Latest photographs of the superhero movie from Sony' camp, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" has surfaced. These three photographs tease about what fans can expect from the much-awaited sequel.

The photographs feature the electrifying Electro as well as the web-slinging superhero Spider-Man in a fireman's hat and a hose. These fresh glimpses at "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" point towards an edge-of-the-seat experience for fans. But do these photographs unravel the mystery of Electro? Let's find out.

Spider-Man Dons a Fire-fighter Hat

In one of the photographs, the friendly neighbour superhero, Spider-Man is shown wearing a fire-fighter hat. It looks like he is helping the fire brigade to put off a massive fire or something. He, certainly, believes in the importance of uniform, thus the hat. The photograph looks comical with spidey in this hat all set to douse the fire caused by bad guys.

The Super Villain - Electro

Jamie Foxx played the character of Electro in the upcoming "The Amazing Spider-Man" sequel. In the past we have seen images of Maxwell Dillon in the electrifying avatar. In the San Diego Comic Con, the official teaser gave the fans a look at this new villain. But in this new picture released by The Times of India shows Electro at his villainous best. We are not sure if he is screaming with pain. It is also possible that he is angry, very angry, thanks to Spider-Man.

"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" Plot

Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) is busy fighting crime as Spider-Man and spending quality time with the girl he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone). High school graduation is close and Parker has not forgotten the promise he made to Gwen's dad to safeguard her by staying away. But, this he just can't keep.

Things change when Electro (Jamie Foxx) enters. He is powerful and his superpowers have something to do with electricity (shock-you-to-death types).

Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) comes back and Parker unearths new clues about his life and past.
