With the unfortunate ending of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," various speculations on how Emma Stone's character Gwen Stacy will make an appearance in the third installment of the superhero movie begin to emerge.

Apparently, Emma Stone, apart from the unfortunate incident she has to go through in the new Spider-Man reboot, will have to face a new challenge as fans of the popular superhero movie start to speculate on her role as Gwen Stacy.

Dying appears to have been inevitable. At least, it has been for Gwen Stacy when Green Goblin tossed her off the bridge and ended her life.

On top of the speculations circulating the Web is that Gwen Stacy may come back as a clone in "The Amazing Spider-Man 3" movie. Fans of the superhero comics, particularly fans born in the 1970s, may have an idea how returning as a "clone" may be possible for Peter Parker's (Andrew Garfield) true love.

If Gwen Stacy indeed returns as a clone, Stacy's college professor Dr. Miles Warren a.k.a. the Jackal will be what the Emma Stone's fans need.

According to the popular story on Marvel wikia, Dr Warren Miles (The Jackal) makes a clone of Gwen Stacy and names it Gwendolyne Stacy. Dr Miles and the Gwen clone got married and attempted to live a quiet life. If this is the plot that the producers choose, "The Amazing Spider-Man 3" is expected to have a feast of clones, including Spider-Man's.

The second speculation is that The Amazing Spider-Man 3 will have the Scarlet Witch who according to Marvel.com transforms the world into an "alternate reality" where Magneto rules. In the comics, Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy have a child and his name is Richard.

The third speculation circulating the Web is that Gwen Stacy will come back as a vision, a ghost, a flashback or a dream to Peter Parker just like Gwen Stacy's father Captain George Stacy does in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie.

In the meantime, speculations put aside, fans of Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are currently being treated to a spectacular superhero experience as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie continues to bring excitement to fans in theatres worldwide.
