Their romance had started last summer when Vannessa Paradis and Johnny Depp called it quits.

Amber Heard, the 27 year old model and actress is now dating the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Johnny Depp. Mind you, their age different is ages apart but Johnny Depp still looks like the stud he was a few years back.

Dating an A-List celebrity like Depp would certainly place you in the limelight but Amber Heard says that she does not want to be a celebrity. In her recent interview with Flare Magazine, the celeb had mentioned that she does not want to be a celebrity. We quote the actress saying that "It's not part of my professional life"

The actress and model prefers to live a normal and quiet life.

"You can find pictures of me on the Internet pumping gas, picking up dry cleaning, walking my dog, but nowhere are you going to find pictures of me hanging around at some nightclub."

The star tries to keep things as normal as possible.

"I don't want to change just because people are watching. I've always been the person who says what she wants."

Could this be the reason on the rumors that Depp is considering retiring from acting? When asked about retirement Depp had said:

"Are there quieter things I wouldn't mind doing? Yes, I wouldn't mind that. I wouldn't say I am dropping out any second, but I would say it's not too far away,"

We hope that it would be years before he decides that acting is out of the picture for the celebrity we've all grown to love.
