Throw in a violence incident and the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard divorce case has now gotten more complicated.

Over the weekend, the 30-year-old was granted a temporary restraining order by a Los Angeles court. The TRO, which will be effective until June 17, demands the “Pirates of the Carribean” actor to stay away 100 years from Heard. She was reported to call the police after Depp allegedly threw an iPhone at her.

Following Heard’s request for a TRO, the LAPD recounted the incident, which occurred on May 21. “[P]olice responded to a domestic incident radio call in the 800 block of S. Broadway. The person reporting did not insist on a report, nor was there any evidence provided by the victim that warranted a report. Officers’ investigation determined that a crime did not occur. Officers clearer the scene and left a business card. We cannot confirm that a restraining order was sought or obtained,” the statement read, according to Deadline.com.

Heard summarised her motive for filing a TRO in a statement. “I live in fear that Johnny will return to the Broadway residence unannounced to terrorise me, physically and emotionally,” she said according to Sunday Mirror. “There also have been several prior incidents of domestic violence with Johnny, in particular there was one severe incident in December 2015 when I truly feared that my life was in danger.”

Depp’s camp has since denied the incident, and said they would contest her claims. On Monday, 30-year-old Heard filed for divorce from Depp, 52, due to “irreconcilable differences.”

Based on the divorce papers posted by TMZ, Heard said that they have already broken up on May 22. Depp asked the judge to deny her request, and was also reported to request that Heard handle her lawyer’s fees.
