Amber Rose Says Her Family Thinks ' They Are More Superior Or Better Than An African American'
Amber Rose reportedly revealed in her interview that her family did not come to her wedding with Wiz Khalifa because of their prejudice against African Americans. The model turned actress was reportedly upset with her family not showing up for her wedding due to their "cultural" biases.
"With my family, they feel like they're more superior or better than an African American because we're Creole and we have culture and that's something I battle with most of my life," she said in her interview with Oprah Winfrey Network, according to Mirror. She also said that she this is a "sensitive subject" and she is angry that her family is not open to other cultures.
She admitted that the elders in her family have passed on the strict cultural values to her uncles and aunts. "Our younger generation, we've embraced it so much and I feel like that's why my father is white," she added. Rose married Khalifa in 2013 after dating him for about two years. They got engaged in March 2012 and had their nuptials in a beautiful ceremony in July 2013. Rose also has one son, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz with the rapper. The couple is no more together. They pulled a plug on their relationship citing "irreconcilable differences."
Though they couple may not be married anymore, they reportedly respect each other. Much recently when Rose posted her controversial photos while dressed in a string bikini to her Instagram page, Khalifa responded in support. Appreciating, Rose' beauty the rapper said in a Twitter post "Yes, my baby's mother is fine as f---."
In the racy pictures, Rose can be seen showing off her envious body while dressed in a bikini. She can be seen showing off her tattoos while posing for the photos in a balcony. She coupled her bikini look with a pair of black shades and matching heels. The photos can be seen on her Instagram account. Meanwhile, it was not only Khalifa who was happy with Rose's pictures. Her fans shared her pictures thousand of times and some of them also commented that she "broke the internet."
