The American Country Music Awards 2012 kicked off yesterday and the most stunning country crooners put their best feet forward along with their stunning outfits.

Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood were just a few of the attendees who turned heads at yesterday's gala. Take a look at the best dressed at the ACM Awards held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas.

Singer, Kimberly Perry, who's one third of the Band Perry, along with her brothers Reid and Neil stunned at the red carpet with her Cengiz Abazoglu silk tulle mermaid gown in the nude tint. Her signature blonde curls completed the look. Perry was nominated for Vocal Group of the Year at the ACMs.

While Perry may have opted for the nude tones, Miranda Lambert went for the gold with her floor-length Grecian-inspired gown. In fact the singer went over the top with her looks for the night as she had an outfit change of up to three different looks which is worth it since she did win the award for Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year.

White gowns ruled the evening as well. The ever-charming and lovely, Taylor Swift turned heads in a white cutout gown which was way more sophisticated than her recent red carpet looks. The country cutie flashed a bit of her skin in her elegant, floor-length outfit. Taylor took home the award for Entertainer of the Year.

Another blonde beauty that opted for the white look was Carrie Underwood with her high-slit dress flaunting her shapely left leg. The singer wore an Abed Mahfouz strapless ivory gown complete with silver details.

Singer Meghan Linsey of the country music duo, Steel Magnolia also captured the attention of the press with her white floor-length gown featuring a feathered top. Jason Aldean's wife, Jessica, also walked the red carpet in a white to baby pink tinted gown.

Shawna Thompson of Thompson Square opted for the colorful look with her purple laced gown that highlighted her curves and her ivory skin tone. Another singer dressed in loud colors was Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland who donned a pink gown featuring lace detail and a yellow belt.

Keeping the look simple in black was singer, Katie Armiger in a black knee-length dress featuring a lace detail. Also in the black and bold look was Keith Urban's lovely wife, Nicole Kidman. Australian actress, Nicole, opted for the plain black dress paired off with red high heels.
